As families across the Bay Area prepare to gather for Thanksgiving, I am filled with profound gratitude for each of you who make our Uzbek Community Center a true home away from home.
This year has been extraordinary for our community. Together, we’ve shared our rich heritage through memorable events – from the vibrant Turkic Cultural Festival at Embarcadero Plaza to our joyous Eid al-Adha celebration that united our families in tradition. Our participation in the Silicon Valley Fall Festival and our Ping Pong Tournament have built meaningful bridges with our neighbors while showcasing our beautiful culture.
I’m especially proud of our expanded scholarship program, investing in the bright futures of our youth. These achievements would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers who give countless hours, our wise Board Directors and Executive Team members who guide our vision, and our generous donors whose contributions sustain our programs.
As we reflect on this season of thanksgiving, please know that each of you has contributed to creating this beautiful community. You are not just members of an organization; YOU ARE FAMILY.
May your Thanksgiving be filled with warmth, delicious food, and cherished moments with loved ones.
With heartfelt gratitude,
Qudrat Rahimhodzhayev
