Children’s Art Competition

The Uzbek Community Center of the San Francisco Bay Area is thrilled to announce the "Uzbekistan is Always in My Heart" children's art competition.

"Uzbekistan is always in my heart"

Eligibility

The competition welcomes children between the ages of 6 and 13 who are enrolled in public or private schools in the San Francisco Bay Area, California. It is open to kids from Uzbekistan as well as kids born in the US whose parents have immigrated from Uzbekistan.
Theme

The main topic for the artwork is "Uzbekistan is always in my heart"
Prizes

3 winners will be chosen:

The 1st Place winner will be awarded school supplies equivalent to $100.

The 2nd Place winner will be awarded school supplies equivalent to $75.

The 3rd Place winner will be awarded school supplies equivalent to $50.

Submission Guidelines:

Artwork must be an original design created solely by the participant,with no assistance from others.

NO AI GENERATED IMAGE.

Each participant may submit only one piece of artwork.
Artwork must be drawn by hand using crayons, color pencils, markers, or watercolor, or oil pastels.
The size of the artwork should be 11”x14”.
Submission Deadline:

The deadline for submissions is Sunday September 30st, 2024 at 11:59pm PST.

How to Enter:

Participants must fill in the submission form on or before the submission deadline.
Additional Information:

Submitted artwork may be used in printed materials for promotional purposes and will be considered the property of the organizer.
Awards Announcement

Winners will be announced during the UCCSFBA Fall Event 2024 and on the UCCSFBA's website, and contacted directly.

By organizing this art competition, we aim to encourage young artists from Uzbekistan to express their love for their homeland through creative artwork and provide them with an opportunity to win valuable school supplies.
