Our Vision

The Strength of a People. The Power of Community.

The Uzbek Community Center of San Francisco Bay Area is a non-profit organization founded in 2019 by talented and dedicated people from Uzbekistan, who live in all around the Bay Area.

We envision a community in which our youth are self-empowered through education and artistic expression, have overcome discrimination, and contribute to positive change in their communities.

As part of this vision, all of San Francisco's youth and families have access to the opportunities they need to thrive and create a city that is supportive, equitable, inter-connected and community-led.

Through transformative youth development services rooted in the cultural and artistic traditions of our communities, we accompany youth and their families on their path to realize their full potential as powerful and healthy members of society.

Our programs include tutoring, before and after school academic enrichment, summer programs, social/emotional support, sports, youth workforce, parent leadership development and organizing, and Central Asian arts education and performance.. In addition we are focused on helping newcomers from Uzbekistan to integrate into American Society and become valuable member of it.

Also, we expand and develop cooperation with other cultural organizations, communities and charitable culture and arts foundations, attract investments, grants and promote the developments of sponsorship in the country.
