Celebration of Spring 2023 in the Bay Area by UCCSFBA

Dear friends,

In late April of this year, Uzbek Community Center of San Francisco Bay Area hosted Spring Festival 2023. The success of this event was largely due to the collaboration between the Board of Directors of the Uzbek Community Center, activists, and members of the community. The Uzbek community living in Northern California played a vital role in making this festival a high-caliber event, and their contributions were greatly appreciated. During the festival, attendees were treated to a variety of performances showcasing Uzbek culture, including traditional songs and dances. Children also had access to entertaining games, while everyone had an opportunity to savor delicious national dishes. Over 300 guests attended the festival; not just Uzbeks but also friends from other ethnic backgrounds as well as local residents. One highlight at the festival was a grand feast featuring three large pots filled with Uzbek rice dish called Palov which both guests and participants thoroughly enjoyed. The main purpose behind organizing this festival was to introduce local residents to Uzbek customs and culture while simultaneously promoting awareness about Uzbekistan on a global scale. Needless to say, guests were left with lasting impressions after attending this vibrant celebration. For glimpses into what took place at Spring Festival 2023, please follow this link:

Сан-Францискодаги жамият фаоллари, имконияти чекланган болаларнинг таълим-тарбия масаласи нозиклигини инобатга олган ҳолда, ногирон болаларга мўлжалланган “Мурувват” интернат уйларининг моддий-техник базасини яхшилашга ўз ҳиссаларини қўшишга қарор қилдилар.
